Checketts was ran out of town, who was the last good GM here (Grunfeld was ok). The current GM, Donnie Walsh, has at THE VERY LEAST not added new long-term contracts of bullshit players. The cap space will be there for July to see about the free-agent masses, but everyday that goes by I wonder if Lebron, Bosh, or Wade will be coming. I have a $100 bet with Rational Investor that Lebron is coming in July, this bet was made over a year ago I believe. I do not think I'd make that bet today though. Also, notice that almost EVERY player who left the Knicks the last 5 years to go to another team has turned into at the minimum a very good player. Zach Randolph is a fucking ALL STAR with the Grizzlies this year. Trevor Ariza helped the Lakers a lot last year, and got over a 50 million dollar deal to be a centerpiece with the Rockets. Jamal "TAKE 89 SHOTS A GAME" Crawford is a VERY impressive player coming off the bench for the Hawks. Lastly, Channing Frye is leading the NBA in 3 pointers this year with the Suns.
